Age: 2; Gender: Filly; Breed: Standardbred; Onset of Clinical Signs: 2/11/2026; Clinical Signs: This 2 year old filly on a private farm was examined for a swollen head with enlarged lymph nodes. She tested positive for S. equi by PCR. The yearling in the same pen as her had a purulent nasal discharge.; Horse Status: Recovering;

Comments: The farm owner, working with their veterinarian, has instituted voluntary animal movement restrictions and biosecurity protocols.
