Age: 17; Gender: Gelding; Breed: Quarter Horse (QH); Onset of Clinical Signs: 1/27/2024; Clinical Signs: This gelding developed a fever, nasal discharge and a cough. Two other horses had transient fevers and 1 began coughing and developed a fever and nasal discharge. A nasal swab was positive for equine influenza on PCR.; Confirmation Date: 2/1/2024; Horse Status: Recovering; 

Comments: The farm manager, working with their veterinarian, has implemented voluntary movement restrictions and infection control procedures.;
