This progressed rapidly to dysphagia, muscle tremors, toxic mucous membrane color with petechial hemorrhage on gums. Horse became recumbent and did not respond to treatment or intensive supportive care.; Confirmation Date: 1/23/2024; Horse Status: Euthanized; Vaccination Status: Unvaccinated;

Comments: Horses were observed grazing near a skunk 3 weeks prior to clinical signs.;
