Comments: Mare's clinical progression became static with institution of treatment. Appetite returned. The horse that was exposed to this mare was tested for EHV-1 and EHV-4 by EDTA whole blood and nasal swab, and the results were negative. Facility implement voluntary quarantine of the facility, including temping all horses twice daily. Thus far, there are no other affected horses.;
