Notes: Two horses at the same Polk County boarding facility as the previously reported EIA case (alert ID: 2056) have tested positive for piroplasmosis. Both horses were euthanized and the facility was quarantined upon notification of the first positive test result. All remaining horses will remain on site and retested 30-days following the isolation of the two positive horses. Once all remaining horses have tested negative after a 30 day period the piroplasmosis quarantine will be released.;
