Facility: Racetrack 
Comments: The index horses was euthanized on 1/22/2023 due to progressing symptoms and poor quality of life. An official quarantine was placed on barn 21 housing 174 exposed horses. A minimum 21 day countdown beginning on 1/21/2023 has been set, a logged twice daily temperature check has been implemented, along with biosecurity measures including footbaths and PPE. Gulfstream Park has instituted security around the barn with limited access and erected a fenced perimeter around the barn. The 2023 Pegasus World Cup will continue as scheduled, none of the exposed horses will be participating in the event. Horses that previously left the facility during the previous 14 days were identified, owners/trainers were informed and advised to isolate and conduct twice daily temperature checks. All states with traces have been contacted.;
